Lealia Adeagbo is an outspoken advocate for those in need and is passionate about the empowerment of women. She has a direct, but compassionate style and believes in speaking the truth in love. She has over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health and substance abuse with a Master's of Science in the Mental Health Counseling field from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
She believes in a holistic approach to wellness, incorporating mind, body and spirit. As a Christian counselor who is also a licensed practical nurse she is well versed in integrating all aspects of the human condition. She is a goal oriented practitioner who seeks to un-stick the stuck. She finds that there is great power in identifying or giving voice to each person's story. She brings with her experience with substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, and community mental health agency work. She finds an attraction to the Prodigals, young adults, and adolescents as she was once a prodigal teenage mom herself.
Lealia likes to read the Classics, listens to Country Western music, and is dancing as fast as she can and as often. She loves to be outdoors and at the beach and loves to travel and does it as often as she may find time to do. She is in touch with her Afro/Caribbean roots and enjoys learning about many cultures beyond her own.
She is also affiliated with the South Florida Association of Christian Counselors.
